Measles vaccine recommended for any traveler born after 1956 who does not have either a history of two documented measles immunizations or a blood test showing immunity.
Although measles immunization is usually begun at age 12 months, consider giving an initial dose of measles vaccine to children between the ages of 6 and 11 months who will be traveling to Colombia.
